Corrections

Confirmed errors are documented and corrected in the affected publication record. Minor corrections retain the existing DOI and citation record.

Major revisions and editions

Substantive revisions that change how a work should be cited are issued as a new edition or major version with updated identifiers as appropriate. Earlier records remain available and link to the current version.

Metadata maintenance

Publisher, title, contributor, ISBN, DOI, URL, and access metadata are updated when necessary. DOI landing-page URLs are maintained or redirected permanently when site structures change.

Retractions and withdrawals

If a work requires withdrawal, the landing page remains available with a clear status notice and explanation. Persistent identifiers are not reused.
